Christmas Markets have German roots. And one of
the most traditional and most popular snacks on a German Christmas Market is
always Bratwurst.
This year the delicious sausages can also be
found among the stands of Helsinki’s Christmas Market on Mannerheimintie.
Niklas Asplund has original Thüringer Bratwurst
from Jena in Germany. Coming straight from the grill they are served in a bun with mustard
or ketchup. Or otherwise have them as Currywurst or together with some
traditional German potato salad.
The sausage stand is open daily from noon till 18:00
until January 6th (with a small break during the Christmas days from
24th till 26th).
Enjoy!
