At the bus terminal in Kamppi you can find a
pretty special box. The “white box” is an art project of Ville Hara and Anu
Puustinen. Their goal is to get Venice and Helsinki closer together and allow
visitors at Kamppi to have a peak at Venice Biennale.
There are two of those boxes put up – one in
Kamppi and one at the Nordic exhibition "Light-Houses: On the Nordic
Common Ground" in Venice. The two boxes are connected via video call
connection. So standing in front of the box you can not only see what is going
on in Venice but even get in contact with the people in the exhibition.
Try it out yourself! It’s fun!
