Turkish for lunch
If you ask a Turk where to go for authentic
Turkish food in Helsinki one of the places he will recommend to you will definitely
be Ravintola Ani.
The small restaurant on Telakkakatu is a pearl.
You feel like having traveled a few thousand kilometers south. The atmosphere
is nice and you feel at home right away.
Ani is a perfect lunch place. For 9,30 € you
get a Turkish buffet with a huge salad bar, Turkish appetizers (e.g. filled
wine leaves, pickled vegetables and amazing humus), kebab und a meat dish of
the day.
The staff is friendly and happy to serve you a
coffee or a traditional Turkish apple tea (go for that) after your meal.
Enjoy!

Design to go
The Nordic countries and especially Finland are
world famous for their design. The products convince not only by their looks
but also their convenience. One of the main goals is always to make your life
easier and more enjoyable.
Design products are also a great souvenir when
you come to Finland for a visit. A perfect place for that is Brands
Scandinavia. It is located in the main station. The small shop has a surprisingly
good collection of products from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Browse
through the shelves and you will definitely find a good gift for your family or
friends.
Brands Scandinavia is open daily. For more
information check their website.
UPDATE: Unfortunately the Bands Scandinavia pop-up store at the main station has closed.
