We reached the climax of the Helsinki Week. Today
is Helsinki Day, the 200th anniversary of Helsinki as the capital of
Finland. For this day lots of events have been arranged.
At Ruttopuisto the people from Sininen
Verstas have made a special gift for Helsinki and sewed colorful fabric
covers for the trees in the park.
But there is so much more to explore today in
Helsinki. A list of most (definitely not all) activities that take place today
can be found from the Helsinki viikko
website. One of the highlight is going to be the big
free open air concert by Radio Aalto at Kaisaniemi Park. Great Finnish acts like The Rasmus, Lauri Tähk, Chisu and many more will play.
It’s gonna be a great day! Have fun!
